All students brought in dead batteries and old cell phone as part of our Student Development program during the 1st Sermester.
We are in the process of evaluating this activity and deciding how to continue.
As per the Principal's request we will wait until the Fall Quarter to officially begin our conservation club but will be asking some of our classes to participate in DePaul's Green Campus initiative.
Current teacher participants: Maureen McCabe, Kim Vlk, Jack Callum.

Ms.Vlk, Ms.McCabe, and Mr. Callum met to strategize for the coming months. We will be contacting the CPS Board, the Chicago Department of the Environment and looking into paper collection procedures...The collection of old cell phones and batteries is continuing.
